Tours

Guided tours of the renovated Conservancy Nature Center last up to three hours and include new experiences throughout all 21 acres. Your guide will help you interact with over 100 native animals and new exhibits in the Dalton Discovery Center. Then it’s off to the nursery at the von Arx Wildlife Hospital for a peek at some of our "patients" - to learn about wildlife care.

Your excursion will continue to the Christopher B. Smith Preserve, home to protected gopher tortoises. Finally, enjoy a narrated electric boat cruise on the Gordon River from the Allyn Family Dock, where you may spot a manatee or two! Bring your lunch or snack and enjoy an outdoor picnic, shop at the Bradley Nature Store, observe visiting wildlife at the Shotwell Wavering Family Filter Marsh and explore the trails on your own to complete your visit.
