Wildlife Rehabilitation Specialist


Colleen has always loved animals and found a way to include them in her personal life and career.  She found her passion for wildlife rehabilitation while in college, on a study abroad trip to Ecuador, she volunteered at a wildlife center and has been trying to help animals since then.  

Colleen started at the Conservancy in 2012 as an education intern and then completed a wildlife hospital internship, and has been a staff member at the wildlife hospital since 2014.  She is responsible for the treatment and care of native Florida wildlife with the goal of releasing them into the wild, as well as coordinating the volunteer program for the wildlife hospital.
