Scott Wanrow provides management and technical leadership, as well as financial oversight and management of budgets for the Facilities Department. He and his team are responsible for the planning, implementation, coordination and supervision of all mechanical operations, maintenance activities, energy management, campus security, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and housekeeping.

Additionally, he oversees the maintenance, repair and upkeep of campus grounds, buildings, leased properties, equipment, vehicles, and water vessels. Duties also include construction/engineering project management, oversight and contract management. Ensures adherence to safe work practices and manages facility improvements in compliance with the ADA.  Recruits, supervises and evaluates assigned staff.

Scott has been with the Conservancy since May of 2014. He recently moved to Florida from Maryland after working in the BioTech/Pharmaceutical industry. His last job was at the National Cancer Institute managing maintenance and engineering services for a 320,000 sq/ft research facility. Scott has over 30 years of experience in maintenance and engineering starting with his 6yr career in the US Air Force as an Air Traffic Control Systems Technician.
