LEARN MORE ABOUT VOLUNTEERING WITH THE CONSERVANCY

Her father was a backyard bird watcher and Sheila says this is how she first developed an interest in birds. Now an avid bird watcher for 40+ years, she says she has been fortunate enough to see birds in Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America and Europe.

Sheila volunteers twice a week at the Conservancy in the Von Arx Wildlife Hospital. She says it is her weekly passion to fulfill her enjoyment of birds and wildlife and learn more about the wildlife that inhabits our Florida landscape.

Thank you, Sheila, for your role in protecting Southwest Florida’s unique natural environment and quality of life…now and forever.
