Originally from Brookfield Wisconsin, Wayne and Barbara moved to Southwest Florida in 2009. They were retired and wanted to live somewhere warm.

Wayne had a professional career as a CPA and CFO for a CPA Firm. He also worked for the Catholic Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Barbara had a professional career with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee as the secretary to Archbishop as well as to the Superintendent of Catholic Schools. Barbara and Wayne have a beautiful blended family with 7 children and 14 grandchildren.

Since 2012, Wayne and Barbara have donated over 2300 hours volunteering for the Conservancy. They are a dynamic team – always ready, willing and able to help!  

Wayne and Barbara are volunteers together for Guest Services, Special Events, and Evenings at the Conservancy. Wayne also volunteers as a Dock Master and Barbara volunteers in the Intern and Volunteer offices.

They chose to volunteer at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida because of its mission and the impact it could make in the community.
