FIELD TRIP PROGRAM FEES
We offer three different field trip experiences that provide age-appropriate activities and are aligned to the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards.The Conservancy Nature Center can accommodate up to three classes per day for field trips; this includes up to 22 people, including chaperones. Each field trip lasts up to three hours and includes a lunch break at our outdoor picnic area within your three hour rotation schedule.

Encounter live animals in the Dalton Discovery Center, look for jumping fish on an electric boat ride, and take a peek into the von Arx Wildlife Hospital where we care for more than 3,200 wild animals per year. Learn how you can help the Conservancy protect Florida’s water, land and wildlife.
Become a scientist and explore a working filter marsh. Collect aquatic species for identification, use research instruments to measure water quality, and engage in scientific inquiry activities in the Conservancy STEM Lab. Then explore the Dalton Discovery Center and meet live aquatic creatures up close.
Become an endangered species biologist! Use technology to take part in a scientific study of the threatened gopher tortoise and the endangered Florida panther. Collect data and samples to examine in the Conservancy STEM Lab. Learn how the Conservancy protects endangered species and what students can do to help.
