Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is currently reviewing proposed water quality standards revisions that could allow more pollution - including cancer-causing chemicals – into Florida’s drinking and recreational waters! The new Human Health-Based Water Quality Criteria proposed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) would increase water quality degradation and cancer risk statewide.
