Planned Giving

The Benefits of Giving to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida

Those who support the Conservancy of Southwest Florida have a strong interest in our land, our water, our wildlife and our future. A planned gift can help you achieve your philanthropic goals, take advantage of many benefits, and help to secure the future of the Conservancy.

Gift Planning Options

The term “planned giving” refers to charitable gifts that require some planning before they are made. These gifts are popular because they can provide valuable tax benefits and/or income for life.

You don’t have to be wealthy to make a meaningful planned gift to the Conservancy, but you can gain potential benefits:

  • Increase current income for yourself or others
  • Reduce your income tax
  • Avoid capital gains tax
  • Pass assets on to your family at reduced tax cost
  • Make significant donations to the Conservancy

We will work closely with your financial advisor to design a Gift Planning Option that will meet your personal, financial, and charitable goals. Let us assist you in sharing your legacy with your children and grandchildren to protect Southwest Florida long into the future.

Planned Giving Committee

The Planned Giving Committee is a group of local financial and legal professionals who support the work of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida and lend their expertise to the Conservancy in the areas of education and technical assistance. We are grateful to be able to utilize these individuals when necessary to assist our donors and their advisors in creating a planned gift.
